Webinar: Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring on the Waccamaw River

Since 2006, volunteers have been monitoring water quality on the Waccamaw. Nine teams cover over 140 miles of river from Lake Waccamaw to Winyah Bay spanning two states. Data generated by our volunteers has assisted in identifying hot spots for land-based sources of pollutants, detecting illicit discharge, and illuminating trends over time.
