$1,000 Available For Your Local Safe Boating Efforts!

Apply now for the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) Grassroots Outreach Program. 

As part of the North American Safe Boating Campaign, the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) is offering $1,000 in resources to state agencies, organizations, and other groups to help promote the campaign in their communities through the Grassroots Outreach Program.

The NSBC is interested in new, innovative concepts to promote life jacket wear and is also interested in supporting those endeavors that have proven successful in the past.

Need ideas? View the 2016 Grassroots Presentation to learn how previous recipients increased outreach and helped promote the importance of life jacket wear in their communities.

Applications are due no later than 11:59 pm EST January 23, 2017. If mailing your application, it must be postmarked no later than January 23, 2017. The NSBC will notify all applicants of their award status no later than February 1, 2017. Apply now!
