Bignotti Beach Forest Service Site and River Access

About

Bignotti is primarily a take-out spot, not a put in. From Highway 260, turn east on Thousand Trails Road. The first left, approximately a half mile on Thousand Trails Road, will be Forest Service Road 147A. Follow that 1.5 miles to the parking area and river access. It is a steep, winding and rutted dirt road. 4WD and high clearance vehicle recommended. Downstream of Bignotti is not recommended for boating due to low flows, tree fences, agricultural diversions and obstructions across the river, and lack of river access points to take out (next is Black Bridge in Camp Verde).
