River access point at the end of Bloody Basin Road. Access from I-17 on Bloody Basin Road, approximately 40 miles. Also can be accessed from the Town of Cave Creek from Seven Springs Road (approximately 30 miles). The Verde River Trail (FS Trail #11) also ends here on the left side of the Verde River. High clearance 4WD vehicle is recommended – the road is very rough.
