Cottonwood Ditch Diversion

About

The Cottonwood Ditch agricultural diversion often diverts most of the Verde River flows in providing water for residential areas and some ranches.  It is one of the oldest water rights on the Verde River, and during periods of lower flow, particularly in the summertime, boating past the Cottonwood Ditch may not be feasible, at least until one reaches the 89A/Bridgeport river access.
